Blog 4: My Favorite Food
¡¡¡¡Hello everyone !!!!
Today I'm going to tell you about
my favorite food, but one that I don't eat very often because it requires time
and help to prepare it: stuffed potatoes.
Talking about this food
immediately reminds me of my aunt Gilda, because whenever she came home to
visit, she used to prepare them and watching her I learned the recipe.
Stuffed potatoes are a pastry made of potatoes that are
stuffed with pine. To prepare them you have to make a classic pino (meat,
onion, garlic and seasoning) the night before. The day of the preparation you
have to cook peeled potatoes until they are very soft and then grind them to
mix with egg, flour and butter until you have a soft dough that does not stick.
In the palm of our hand we place a portion of dough and stretch it, on top of
it we put one to two spoonfuls of pine and close it with the same dough, giving
it with our hand a potato shape. It is taken to fry and they are ready to
enjoy.
They can be baked, if you take care of your health, but I
love them fried, nothing hurts if it is far away 😉
